Kanzeon Big Mind was established in 1984 for the purpose of offering authentic Zen teachings of Wisdom and Compassion to modern western people in a highly accessible way.

Our mission is to fuse the ancient Eastern wisdom of Zen with a modern understanding of Western psychology, igniting personal transformation while assisting the awakening of the world consciousness to the oneness of life.

Our core is to guide individuals to self-realization and liberation from suffering through an integrated path of Eastern Zen and Western psychotherapy, fostering an authentic, fear-free life of service.
